Shoes

I am loving this classic leather boys shoe. It is by FootMates. They come in variety of widths and in numerous colors. (In Hong Kong the uniforms require a black shoe, fortunately this classic also come in black!) I ordered mine from Zappos and as always, was pleasantly surprised by their amazing customer service. Free shipping is a nice touch too!

This shoe goes with everything. From corduroy pants and an appliqued t-shirt and John Johns to something more dressy for the holidays, it works with it all.

I keep white shoe polish on hand, as my toddler still scrapes his toes every now and then. Baby wipes work in a pinch to remove dirt and smudge marks and a magic eraser will do the trick as well.

The girls equivalent is just as precious.

It always seems girls shoes and clothes are much easier to find than boys, but with Zappos the score is even!

The Pea Pie Children's Clothes Factory

I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to go to the factory where the clothes I design are being made! It is so thrilling to watch an idea become reality and I am so impressed with the facilities in Hong Kong. Everyone is happy and working hard and very friendly. It was a unique experience and one that will benefit Pea Pie Children's Clothes immensely. I am proud of the clothes that I will sell and proud of how they are made. By hand with love.

A tour of the factory and fabric market

I just arranged a trip to see the factory where the PPCC ideas will come to life and a trip to the fabric market to begin thinking about summer clothes! I am so excited and can't wait to share the pictures.
